spiflash apt repository

Debian packages built from mithro/spiflash. Rolling release: every push publishes a new version.

A database of SPI NOR and SPI NAND flash chips (JEDEC ids, part names, sizes, page and sector sizes, erase opcodes, voltages and capabilities), merged from the flash tables in flashrom, flashprog, Linux, U-Boot, Dediprog, Rockchip, MediaTek, OpenOCD, openFPGALoader, IMSProg and QEMU, and the flash chips Zephyr's boards describe. Install python3-spiflash, which also provides the spiflash command (spiflash id ef4018). The package is architecture all (pure Python, no dependencies), so it installs on any Debian or Raspberry Pi OS machine.

Signing key fingerprint: B5286C61A99A9E6A5B8A8E5B6B2D7683DE01081D

Signed with the repository's own key. apt reads a keyring's format from its file extension, so the key is published in both encodings: spiflash.gpg is the binary keyring and spiflash.asc the ASCII-armoured one. The commands above use the binary form. To use the armoured key instead, download spiflash.asc and give signed-by= a path ending in .asc to match — apt ignores a keyring whose extension disagrees with its contents.

Each suite is a separate flat repository, so the same version can ship for several Debian releases.
